Chef Nancy Russman's "Chef Nancy's Kids' Club Cookbook." Make plans

Germantown native Chef Nancy and pick up an autographed copy of

Nancy's Kids' Club Cookbook" on Saturday afternoon,
December
15th, between 1:30 and 4:30 at the Tiny Bookshop in the
YesterNook
antique mall, 1041 Goss Avenue.
Chef Nancy has gathered
over twenty years of experience into her 52-page
cookbook. After
apprenticing at Louisville's famed Casa Grisante, she
was a chef in numerous
highly-rated restaurants and prepared culinary
delights across the United
States and Europe.
Returning to Louisville, she created a Culinary Arts
Job Training Program
at St. Vincent de Paul to prepare adults to work in the
food service
industry. She later worked for the Second Harvest Food Bank,
where she
expanded the Kids Café program to fifteen metro-area sites that
provide
disadvantaged children with three evening meals a week. Chef Nancy
has
received numerous awards for her talents, and is now program
coordinator
for the culinary arts program at Jefferson Community and
Technical
College.
Chef Nancy's "Chef Nancy's Kids' Club Cookbook " is
chock full of
kid-friendly, kid-easy, and kid-healthy recipes that teach
young people
how to prepare healthy foods for themselves. And they are
